Amazing Structure

The Colosseum or Coliseum, which is also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre is an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of RomeItaly. Built of concrete and stone, it was the largest amphitheatre of the Roman Empire, and is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and engineering. It is the largest amphitheatre in the world.
The Colosseum is situated just east of the Roman Forum. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian in 70 AD, and was completed in 80 AD under his successor and heir Titus. Further modifications were made during the reign of Domitian (81–96). These three emperors are known as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheatre was named in Latin for its association with their family name (Flavius).
The Colosseum could hold, it is estimated, between 50,000 and 80,000 spectators, and was used for gladiatorial contests andpublic spectacles such as mock sea battlesanimal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based onClassical mythology. The building ceased to be used for entertainment in the early medieval era. It was later reused for such purposes as housing, workshops, quarters for a religious order, a fortress, a quarry, and a Christian shrine.
Although in the 21st century it stays partially ruined because of damage caused by devastating earthquakes and stone-robbers, the Colosseum is an iconic symbol of Imperial Rome. It is one of Rome's most popular tourist attractions and has close connections with the Roman Catholic Church, as each Good Friday the Pope leads a torchlit "Way of the Cross" procession that starts in the area around the Colosseum.
In 2007 the complex was included among the New7Wonders of the World, following a competition organized by New Open World Corporation (NOWC).
The Colosseum is also depicted on the Italian version of the five-cent euro coin.

While Others Are At Matsawapti

On Saturday, September 27th went to Matswapti, I sadly couldn't come. I should have attend Matswapati about 6.30 am in the morning but I woke up at 9. Actually, I could come even though it's late, but I don't know why I thought it would be better to not come at all. Otherwise, the next day on Sunday, I was going to have some kinda piano concert. So, my mother told me to practice for the next day. I didn't practice much, maybe just an hour and a half. Then, I just sleep, read books, study, play games, and eat. That's all I think.

Unforgettable Memory

All of us must have unforgettable memory, including me.

This year, a few weeks after the 'National Exam', me, my brother, my father and my father's friend at work were going to Mount Rinjani. I was very excited at the time. Actually, when I was a fifth grader, I've came there before with all of my family member. But, my family couldn't reach the peak. Therefore, before I leave Bandung, I had swear to myself that I must reach the peak no matter what. Having to do a same thing  again sometimes could be hard. As I had already know the route and what kind of suffer I will face.

Me, my brother, and my father depart from Bandung to Jakarta along with everything we need. We stay at Jakarta for less than a day before we get to the plane and off to Lombok. After arriving in Lombok my family and my father's freinds immediately went to the nearest guest house in Rinjani Area. After a night for us to rest, the next morning we have to get up early and start walking. It took us 4 days and 3 nights to complete the journey. But what I want to tell you is my journey on the last day, when I have to reach the peak.

We start walking to the peak about 2.30 am. Of course I'm still sleepy, but just like what I had swear in the beginning, I told myself not to give up. About the last kilometers towards the peak, people call it 'Bukit Penangisan'. Just like it's name, many people give up even though they are very close to the peak. It was so tiring that even I would rest for about every 10 steps. When I sit down, sometimes I thought that it would be better for me to give up. But I know that if I gave up, I would regret in the future days. Step by step, finally I managed to reach the peak. I was so happy that I couldn't tell you how I feel.

Even until today, I still often wonder that our journey to Mount Rinjani was just a dream.

About My Friend

Everybody in this world have friends, right? So, let me tell you about my friend.

I have a friend. His name is Zami, Muzami Thahir. First time I met him was on our first day of PLiST in SMAN 3 Bandung because we were in the same group. What was interesting about him was that his past girlfriend is a quite close friend of mine. Besides that, Zami is also very tall. He even claims that he's about 1.85 metres. What I know, his hobby is playing basketball.

On the next day after the day we first time met, our group had to make properties. Since that day, we became closer. What I think about him was, he's nice, diligent and smart. But as days pass by, I realize that what I think about him was mostly wrong. He's actually naughty, a little bit lazy and and sometimes dumb. Sometimes, after school is finished we go to 'WARKUM' to have lunch. Good thing about Zami, for me he is a religious person. He often ask me whether I've pray or not, and if I haven't he usually tells me to pray first last week, on September 11th, he was having a birthday. He willingly treats us.

He often told me that when he graduate from highschool, he wants to study medical in UI, 'Universitas Indonesia'. That's why he often asks me if I can teach him after school. Usually we study in the library or we could also study in the mosque.

Last but not least, maybe he is not the best person in the world. But he is a kind of friend that people want.

About Me

Hello everyone! First of all, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Gading Muhammad Damarjati, but you could call me Gading. My hobby is playing, but not only playing games, but also playing with friends, and everything! I was born in Cilacap, January 1st 2000. Well, I think I was born at a great day, because as you know, it's the first day in the new millenium. I have a father, a mother, a sister and a brother. Currently, I live in 'Komplek Tamansari Bukit Bandung', 9th block number 3.

When I was a baby, my family live in a small house in Antapani. Not long, in 2004, my father got an opportunity to go for a scholarship in the USA. Along with the rest of our family, we went to America. I spent my time as a kindergarten there for 2 years. My family live in 11360 Garden View Land apt #3, St Louis, Missouri. I learned speaking english by my own at a very young age. During the middle of 2006, my family flew home. Since then, my family live in 'Komplek Tamansari Bukit Bandung, where I live now. At the age of six, I went to Mutiara Bunda Elementary School. I spent 6 years there, and of course, I got so many experience. But there were some things that igot in Mutiara Bunda but I don't get it in other school. In Mutiara Bunda, because it's an inclusive school, not all the students are lucky like us. Therefore, I learned that we have to respect and help each other. I graduated from elementary school in 2012, which then i continue my study as a junior highscool student at Taruna Bakti. I join the acceleration class which creates a method for their student to finish junior high for just 2 years instead of 3. After 2 years of hardwork in junior high, I chose to go to 'SMAN 3 Bandung'. Since the first day in SMAN 3, I realized that there's still so many things that I don't know and I should change my personality. I was placed in 'X IPA 9' class for about a month and a half. But sadly, I had to leave my beloved class because, again, I join acceleration class.

Well, I think that's all I can tell you about. Goodbye!
